[MUSAI] ‘G-Star 2020’ will take place both online and offline for the Covid-19 situation

‘G-Star 2020’, the annual international game exhibition in Korea, will be held both online and offline this year because of the Covid-19 situation. They said that the number of visitors would be limited and most of the main events would be online.
The Organizing Committee of G-Star told that it has been decided to hold G-Star 2020 on and off at BEXCO, Busan from November 19 to 22. BTC program will be operated limitedly via offline and BTB business meetings between domestic companies and overseas publishers will be held by video.
For BTC program, the Committee will consider introducing an electronic entry and exit register system (called KI-Pass) which is possible to manage visitors with QR codes. Furthermore, they will divide the space of the venue, operate a reservation system, and limit the maximum number of visitors at the time by time in order to control the concentration of people.
In the case of BTB program, considering the situation that foreign publishers cannot visit Korea, it will be operated by video meetings and G-CON (G-Star Game Conference) will also be online. The Committee explained that it is considered to switch to online events for other side events as well. While most of game shows around the world decided to cancel due to Covid-19, it was obvious that many gamers couldn’t hide their disappointment.
